We are talking football fans here and Newcastle ones at that. Rather than seeing a season where you have done amazingly well with virtually a new team your more deluded element will be of the firm belief you should be going for a CL place and anything else will be "****e". We both know it's a more than possible senario, we are not used to anything you could call success so are more realistic as to where we fit into the league but MON does have us dreaming of what could be.
I must say HBA has looked really good recently. Why the **** wasn't he playing?! If you can strengthen your squad depth in the summer and keep important players I think next season will be a very good one for Newcastle. Similar to this one. I hope Sunderland will be in the same position next year as you are this. If we keep Sess (which I feel is so so vital) and get a quality striker, 1 or 2 wingers - Matt Phillips and Junior Hoillet preferably!! (to provide depth & competition) a ball-playing CM who will get around 10 goals (Gardner with vision basically) and a LB I truly believe we will be fighting for sixth with you.

He was a little too raw. Too greedy with the ball and too high a risk of losing possession in dangerous areas. However, Pardew has worked with him and waited until he saw the improvements on the pitch before Ben Arfa was brought into the XI properly. He now seems to understand how the team plays and understands the right time to pass.

We are no different to any other football fan so I refute that. Also no, nobody at the moment thinks we are going for Champions League this season or in fact next season. We are acutely aware of where we stand. We know we have had a good season this season. The aim should be to consolidate and move forwards later. A nice run in Europe would be nice but we will probably field a weakened team and get knocked out early . As for your point about yourselves and dreaming, you are the fans posting about finishing 6th and above us.... Those in glass houses should not be throwing stones but I respect your opinions
Next season, you can't see the knob heads come out of the closet if you are around 10th after 10 games.....we had some saying MON's bubble had burst after Blackburn ffs, I did make it clear they were an element and not the majority by highlighting "incredibly reactionary",
Fair enough Similar to Sess with, except he never spent time out of the team. Sess used to run with the ball a lot and shoot from stupid places, but since MON came in he's been unreal! He passes a lot more when it's needed and has stopped his ridiculous shots. Hopefully he doesn't leave in the summer and we get a full season from him under MON

Of courrse they will, there will be the one or two that are unhappy if we have a poor start next year. I don't disagree with that. But I refute your allegation that any NUFC fan has said finishing below 4th this season will be ****e. Other than that your points are correct, but a lot of the "deluded" tag we have is given to us because of unfounded comments like that.
OP seems like a WUM post. Wease has made it his personal mission to destroy the thread with moaning posts about Newcastle fans though. It's a forum get over it, people will post where they want on an open forum. It was obvious after his first post wasn't even attempting to give an opinion on what the OP had typed.
You have not followed the thread properly, I was talking about next season and never mentioned you finishing 4th this season. If you are down around 8-10th you will have some fans who instead of looking at the positives of this season will think that not pushing higher (which will be 4th if you finish 5th) will be "****e" when it won't actually be anything of the sort. I am not having a go at the majority of Newcastle supporters just the bellends we all have.
Sorry I must have mis interpeted what you said, I thought you meant this season. Yes, you are right in what you say about next season, not sure about top 4 but certainly there will be some moaners if we arent around the top 6 all season. I apologise.
