Back from the game, we deserved a point against a typical Stevenage performance. I hate playing against them, so many fouls and time wasting which they got away with due to a pathetic referee. But we kept going, as we did last week, and got our reward. A few other results didn't go for us today but we're still in it and we've got plenty of belief in the squad to give us a chance.

also back, delighted to have got a point in the end against a an awful stevenage side and an appauling ref. thought they could have had at least 1 red cad and we could have had numourous penaltys for thier defence holding onto strevens and beaver. but we showed spirit and got the deserved goal (look a stonewall pen to me but stevenage fans rekons it was soft and a dive :D ) fantastic support, and if thats true about hayes then im very dissapointed, we could have used him today

A fair result in the end.

Neither side really did enough to win the game. \stevenage had more of the ball and controlled much of the midfield but played most of the game in front of the two banks of our midfield and defence with nikki bull having very little to do.

Beavon cut a lonely figure at times and the width provided was not enough. During the course of the game it was clear we were getting more play down the flanks and yet againg waddock made no changes until it was too late and we were at that point losing.

Referee and some of stevenage's play was at best awful at worst disgraceful the numerous fouls made that went unpunished was unbelievable. Thankfully he got the big call right a clear penalty and calmness personified by basey.

A big mention must go to doherty and stewart at the back. Doherty obviously has his detractors at charlton he has been superb for us and is what i've been looking for from our defenders all season - composure, presence and a bit of leadership. Stewart had a big big task in front of him. Making his debut against a team that is known to be physical, direct and aggresive and i thought he coped well which will stand him in good stead in the years to come.

He definitely played in that game Mowgli, unless there are 2 Stewarts.
