    Could be worse. Pardew could rate HBA in the same class as Messi/ Cronaldo as O'neill did with Ashley Young <laugh>

    Fact is, Mackems are going to massively overreact to any praise a Newcastle manager gives to a player, like this, and Newcastle fans will defend the manager.

    wonder why pardiola didn't draw a comparison with Mike Williamson and Puyol......or James Perch with Danny Alves...after all, they both make the odd decent tackle, or do they? Or maybe, he really thinks Ben Arfa has the talent of Messi...

    <laugh> Although I don't know whether to laugh at your substandard punctuation or the sentence. You do not need a space for the exclamation mark, nor do you need to end it with a full stop!

    If you think Sess and McClean are better than Benny then you are clearly on crack. Sess is a quality player and I make no bones about then but McClean is no where near...

    At least Ben Arfa isn't as monotonous as Messi. The regularity with which Messi keeps hitting the back of the net sends me to sleep, and if you're looking for 30 yard screamers, look elsewhere.

    This - but you could add a list of almost 98% of premier league players to there as well

    As for the Sess v Ben Arfa argument (where all our fans will say Sess is better and all theirs will say ben Arfa is better) - Who wouldn't have them both in their side??

    Both fantastic players with great skill and ability

    As for McClean - I think he is a very good player but he's a totally different style of player to HBA - he's an old fashioned winger who rarely cuts inside and hugs the touchline so not really possible to compare IMO
