Think about it! Most of us would have been happy with maybe a draw, a loss and a win somewhere. Most of us were expecting a maximum of 3 points. Personally, I'm REALLY happy with this 6 points, who thought that we'd beat Liverpool and the Arse?! Yes, we were poor against Sunderland, but that's life being a QPR fan... Never a quiet moment! On that note... Who'd wanna be a wolves fan!
Most thought we'd beat Liverpool because they're sh*t but you're right youngone, most also thought we'd lose to both S'land and Arsenal. 6 points is a great return. But it has to be because we lost to all the crap teams. We need another couple of scalps between now and the end of the season and hopefully we'll get them.
I was only thinking this earlier youngone, I'm usually Mr Positive and to get four points would have been a good return. To get six is amazing!!! Let's hope we can carry this momentum forward. Urssssssss!
I reckon we will be okay. I have done that predicting thing on the BBC and have us staying up. I was honest with the scores. Key games for me are Swans and Stoke at home and Spurs West Brom. 3 wins or 2 and 2 draws will do it.
There are still plenty of twists and turns awaiting the bottom 6 Noone is safe and noone is doomed just yet
To have got 6pts out of a possible 9pts were definitely not happening on my prediction page nor most of u I'm sure. What tinges the 2 great wins is that pretty much every other sodding team below/above also picked up points. So all the points have done is kept us where we are and not fallen further behind. Well I guess I'd still rather be going into the next set of matches with our confidence boosted big style with the way we have shown that we can play with the big boys.
Great to have ye back Ellers, we missed ya. My predictor before the Arsenal game had us getting 8 points from the last 8 games including a defeat to Arsenal. That wouldn't keep us up so I'm hoping we'll get around the 11 mark now that we've dispatched the Gunners.
Been about but there was too much negativity on the boards and i did not want to comment. Still keeping the faith and after the Arse result i am confident of staying up. You are correct Scum away was the final straw to post.
I was probably one of those posters Ellers! Just do what everyone else does and ignore my bull-sh*t posts!! This season is going right down to the wire. What you reckon, Up or Down???
Be honest, if we'd been offered three draws for those three games we'd happily have taken them. Now our expectation levels are considerably higher and nothing less than another 4-1 win at Old Trafford will do...
I had you staying up in 17th, two points clear of 18th and a better GD. I'm fairly confident you'll do Spurs, Swansea and Stoke at home
DL Maybe Chelsea will let us get a point? Lets face it you would rather be playing a London team than Bolton Blackburn or Wigan? They have had enough time in the Prem and we need a change.
I'm not too fussed but I'd love Wigan to go down. For sentiment I'd quite like Bolton to stay up (Muamba) and because we always seem to win there, I want to do Bolton away next season. If we beat Benfica on Wednesday we will be in the CL semi final so that will benefit the teams we play this month as we'll probably be resting players for those matches.
Ellers don't tease DL. You don't want Chelsea to give us a point. You want us to go there and rip 3 points out of their greasy little hands in the most brutal, humiliating fashion possible. We want them to squeal like pigs. We're gonna get medieval on their asses! If things go really well we might even get the gimp called Hulse out of his box.
I didn't expect 6, but it was good that we did - I know a lot of concern becasue some of the competish have done well - but - if we had not gotten them 6, we'd really be in the soup since they would still have done well And let me add welcome back to Ellers
