Tony Husband of BBC said earlier he was trying to contact Saints. He has just tweeted that Tadanari is out for the season and requires surgery on his foot. Seems the talk in Japan of a 4-6 month absence due to a metatarsal injury was correct. EDIT: And there we are, if you needed any more confirmation, BBC Solent have posted: "Tadanari Lee out for season after operation on foot injury"
He did it in training right? Real shame. What about Connolly, has anyone heard anything about what's wrong with him?
And that's where someone got their wires crossed with Lambert, I'm betting. Especially if it was a wind-up merchant looking to be the centre of attention. Sorry for Chung, but he'll come again.
Tad is a loss but isn't Lambert. Don't understand why Saints haven't announced something as factual as an operation. It's not like it's a sprain where you don't know how long it will take to mend. He's been under the knife and he's out.
We'll still get promoted without him but it'll make it that little bit tougher, especially with Sharp lacking confidence.
Feel bad for the guy. I'm sure Nigel will confirm it as the first round of pre-Pompey interviews start. Still, this is why we brought in strikers in January.
