Ok so he went down quicker than Mandy after the headbutt but lets be honest he had a fecking awesome game.

The chants "You stole my stereo, we have perchinion" where absolutely epic and I hope it sticks. The ironic thing about this is that my uncle (who I went to the match with) had his car broken into on the brewery hill and they took his IPOD and Satnav. Did anyone else park there and have anything nicked?

He has IMO been playing well for weeks now. I actually thought he deserved MOTM yesterday but thats maybe because I was watching him in particular. Dont ask why!

He has turned his career around with us and thus hats of to him he deserves our support.

Stand up perch and be counted my san you did us proud.

    SAINT JAMES PERCH! LEGEND!

He deserved immense credit for the way he has conducted himself during his stay here. He was condemned pretty mercilessly and consistently by a lot of our fans myself included, and could easily have gotten disillusioned or disheartened but he didn't, he kept plugging away and doing his best and is coming up trumps for us now.

He can tackle, makes good interceptions and blocks, is composed on the ball, can pick a pass, can play anywhere in defence or central midfield and is now proving to be a big asset for us. Well played for turning it all around and making so many of us eat our words, we're only too happy to do so. Hopefully he can continue on in this rich vein of form as it's a great story. Can't wait till he scores a goal for us (at the right end), the crowd will be in raptures!

Perch has been like a foreign. He has taken time to find his feet at this level and adapt. But through all ****e, he has had good support from his manager and has stuck at it. Eventually through time, patience and hard work he has found a role in the squad. I hope he goes on from here, but regardless he does deserve credit for having a large set of cojonies to tough it out.

Always thought it was Ba who'd assisted that goal.

Good thread, I am one of those happy to eat my words and give credit where credit is due... and it is due to Perchinho. Been one of our better performers in recent weeks and his attitude is fantastic never moans just gets on with it and gives 100%

His block was definitely most awesome, and any player in the world would have gone down after Reina brushed his face with his head, at least he actually was touched and went down unlike some long haired money grabbing pikeys. Defo my MOTM vs the bin dippers
