Plus any players available. Another striker (preferably a quick one), winger and CM back-up wouldn't go a miss, esp if we're in Europe and need a large squad.

I would agree but I'm keen to see some of the youngsters pushed on. Vuckic, Sammy, Fergie, Streete, and Abeid will need games. Of course a good side is always looking to add if its better than what they've already got. If the right player comes up sometimes you have to get the deal done, like we did with Santon. A right back by trade so not really filling our left back need, but of such pedigree and ability that we couldn't pass it up.

We are really starting to see Cabaye flourish in his natural position as an attacking midfield of 3.

The reason our win percentage is so much higher is because Willo is our only CB who can deal with aerial threats properly. He (sometimes) does the job when paired with a smaller, more technical defender. That's why a combination of, say, Colo and Willo, or Perch and Willo, can work well, whereas a combo of someone like Simpson and Perch struggled so much against Norwich's aerial threat and set pieces. Willo has his role.

I've made a similar point a few times. You can't play two big men or two smaller men together at CB if you want to get the best results. You need a big, aerial, strong defender like Saylor and a quicker, ball playing CB like Colo.

Man U have done pretty well with pairings of big CBs. Vidic, Rio, Evans, Smalling, Jones... in fact I cant remember the last CB they had that you could regard as comparatively small in stature
