As they say, revenge is a dish best served cold. The way Villa fans had acted when we went down, you would have thought they were Sunderland fans in disguise! I await their timely demise and I shall toast to their relegation!
In answer to the OP main question - I ****ING HOPE SO!! I agree there's a heavy heart where Petrov is concerned - but the bed Darren Bent made needs to be laid in by him - so Villa finishing in the bottom 3 of the premier league would make it so sweet for me
Putting all sentiment aside for Petrov, it really couldn't happen to a better set of fans. We won't pay them back in kind with banners etc, we'll just have a little chuckle to ourselves. What goes around comes around. (I think they'll be fine)
Got to love idioms. My favourite revenge idiom was always "He who laughs Last, laughs Loudest" If Villa went down they would never come back up, not straight away anyway.
