Probs fair enough as he's only done half a season, I'd suggest Rogers deserves it, Pardew & Lambert very close.

Hasn't managed the full season, so would be quite far down a list.

Rogers should win it, unless Pardew gets Newcastle into Europe.

I like it just the way it is, then we can keep the manergerial poachers at bay.

    Probably Moyes.

He's had a standard Everton season, with the added bonus of being allowed to sign Jelavic, Drenthe & Pienaar.

SAF deserves to be on the list for the way they recovered from 1-6 and will win it.

    That list seems fair enough....................

3 way race for me.....Lambert, Rodgers, Ashley butt boy...(sounds kinky)..

Think the dweller from NE1 will and probably deserves to win it....

No syd I'm not surprised Bruce isn't on the list mainly because he was only here for half a season. Apart from that I am sure he would now be one of the main contenders for the way he gave Wigan, Wolves or QPR to name but three the opportunity to spend next season in the Premier Division.

If he had been here still I think he would've succeeded. The way we were playing could anyone have seen us being out of the bottom three at this stage of the season.

I know he keeps saying he needed time to get it right but MON didn't. He had the team playing from game 1.

One thin Bruce had was time, injuries, bad luck, yes he had all of those in patches but time he certainly had, maybe a few weeks to long.

??? Why would O'Neill be in there? All he's done is save a team from relegation that should never have been there in the first place. It was a cushty number he took over in terms of expectation were at an all time low and the squad he inherited was a mid table squad with a top class talent in Sessegnon.

I'd have to go with Pards but you couldn't argue with Brendan Rodgers. They were favourites for 20th place and have shattered that. And they've doen it all playing some lovely stuff. More like him who play football correctly. We need to keep the likes of Big Sam and Pulis well away from the PL so we can see the game played in the right way.

Rodgers for me, closely followed by Moyes.

Hon. mentions to Lambert and, ulp, Pardew.

I'd chuck in saggy chops, but the Spuds have lost their way recently and have looked like cracking.

Fergie should be nowhere near, as Utd are not really playing that well and got KO'd from the CL, along with Citeh. Wenger's turned it around, but won't be manager of the year until he gets the hang of spending some cash.

Rodgers gets my vote at this stage. For a team like Swansea to be where they are and how they've gone about it I think he'll get it. Its going to be hard for them to keep hold of him especially if Harry takes the England job.

Wonder if he learns the lessons of Allardyce and AVB and stays put rather than leave then get sacked half way through next season.

If it was the sulky bad loser making your self look a prat whilst ruining your legacy award, he's won already.

Cant believe Rodgers is favourite tbh.

Manager of the year awards usually go to top 4 managers, with the exception of George Burley, Ipswich town who finished 5th in 2000/01

    SAF Man United 10 wins
    AW Arsenal 3 wins
    JM Chelsea 2 wins
    KD Blackburn 1 win
GB Ipswich 1 win (when they came 5th)
HR Spurs 1 win (when thay came 4th)

So if Newcastle finish 4th or 5th, Pardew will get it, if they slip a bit, SAF or Mancini will for whoever wins the league.
