Another loss at home, surely that has well and truly put the brakes on any hope we could have made the play offs. Our home form is one of the worst in the Championship. Warnock came out on talksport on Saturday admitting he will invest in our crumbling defence.... Why didn't he do this during the transfer window.

My question for LUST.

I feel that when Leeds are playing well and winning games, fans seem to have a short memory ie sale of Howson, Gradel, Delph, and no serious investments in players. Now that our play off hopes are more or less over, are LUST going to gain momentum, and plan something big???

You may well be right mate, not sure how many players that left that he wanted to keep though, I would imagine probably Johnson, Beckford, Gradel and Howson. Take those out of the squad and we're suddenly seriously short.

 

Afternoon all. Well, that's the playoffs all but gone. Saturday will possibly be the chance for a whole raft of players to show Warnock why they should still be a Leeds player next season AND part of a much changed squad. He was talking of throwing in a few kids. Apart from the possibility of Reading inflicting a serious hammering, what have we got to lose? We probably won't go up, & we can't go down. May as well start looking forward to the summer hols & next season.

Afternoon Elland. Kilkenny was never good enough to play for us. On the plus side, he could make a telling pass. Weighed against that, he can't head, can't tackle, & isn't particularly quick. Agree that one or two kids should at least get a place on the bench, if not actually start on Friday

Kilkenny was available for an easy pass every time one of our players had the ball. And he could pass it through to someone who was making a run - shame we had a team of no-marks who couldn't see a run to make.
