Perch was solid and Willo gave an improved performance too.

Thought Willo did very well, also he didnt just hoof the ball away, he passed to our players.

At the end of the day it was a very professional performance all round.

A great game, a great win, and a great three points.

Very surprised, however if I was Liverpool fan I'd not be happy with a few things that went our way. Anyway I eat my own words about Williamson and Perch they were excellent today.

There weren't any good songs worth repeating about Carroll.

    A great one was

    "You could have Sixth
    You could have had SIIIIXTH
    Jose Enrique
    You could have had Sixth!"

No singing 'You let your City down' to Carroll, a few renditions of the old 'top six' song to Enrique.

Sometimes better watching the game with no sound on.

Cisse, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Perch and Iron Mike were all outrageously good. Perch man of the match for me, had an absolute blinder yet again. Well done son, really doing us proud.

    Ratings -

Krul - 6 - Still plenty to learn. Kicking is a disgrace and needs immediate work. Phone call to Van Der Saar for young Tim. Had very little to do all afternoon.
Simpson - 8 - Outstanding for me. Suarez and Bellamy got **** all out of him. He was right up the arse of both and they didn't like it up em. I'm sure he'll be ignored as just solid but that's the best thing a full back can bee sometimes.
Williamson - 7 Did really well. Carroll gave him a bit of a torrid time in the air, but we all know he does that to most.
Perch - 9 - Just thought he was top notch. Blocks, tackles, headers, interceptions. I think he had probably two dodgy moments in the whole game. I'd probably have given him MOM but Cheik was immense and ran the game.
Jonas - 6 - Had a real struggle and looked a bit jaded. Would have been happy we had control of the 2nd half and had much less defensive work.
Guthrie - 6 - Forgot he was on the pitch at time.s
Cabaye - 8 - Thought he had a cracking game again. helped Cheik control the midfield. Hit one or two wayward long passes but some of the stuff they got going in midfield with the short passing was lovely to watch. I keep saying we need to pay on the floor, yesterday confirmed it.
Tiote - 9 - Just unbelieveable for me. Ran the game from start to finish and completely disrupted their attacking play. He covers so much ground its unreal. Just ferocious when he wants the ball back as Jose found out!
Ben Arfa - 8 - Fantastic game from him again. Again his workrate back over was first class, but its the business end we're really concerned with when it comes to Benny and he delivered the goods against one of the best full backs in the league.
Ba - 8 - Thought he had a great game. So unselfish in taking to his new role. Shows like any top class player, he can adapt. Unlucky not to find a goal again b ut has been a joy to watch this season wherever he's played.
Cisse - 9 - Knows where the net is and his all round play is improving week by week. We've got a seriously talented striker on our hands.
Gosling - N/A - Best game I've seen him have for us. Did ok when he came on and nearly made the hat trick. Not convinced though. To be fair he has had limited opportunities.
Overall - Great game, we were controlled, attacking and a brilliant defence job with our reserve defence.

At this rate....Wouldn't another such performance for Perchino be more of the norm than an absolute blinder ? lol...
Imagine that...In any case loving Perchino's performances and looking forward to his next!!! His versatility is off the charts!!
