I hope Blackburn stay up, as others have mentioned, after the **** Kean has been put through he has shown immense strength and I hope they survive. I also hope Bolton stay up, the solidarity they evoked in football after Muamba had his cardiac arrest, and the utter professionalism the club demonstrated throughout, has given me a renewed belief in the power of football. I like Owen Coyle too. I like Wigan, I like Martinez, I like Al Habsi, and I repsect the fact they're trying to play football the right way. That leaves us with "We only hate Wolves...", QuitePossiblyRelegated and Villa/WBA. As for Villa/WBA, I have no affinity for either of the two.
Looks like Quite Possibly Relegated and Wolves have gained a lot of friends this season <waitingforQPRfanscomethenrunawayemoticon>
Wolves look doomed. I wouldn't mind Blackburn joining them, I admire Kean too, but the fans deserve it for the way they treated him. Oh, and anyone else as long as it's QPR. I used to have a soft spot for them, but that's been wiped out by the most obnoxious set of fans I've encountered on here (there were a few exceptions, well done to them). Also, the way they tried to buy success, not to mention Ecclestone, Briatore, Fernandes, what a freaking mess. Any team that employs Barton would also get my vote regardless of the above.
QPR Wigan - Premiership teams need to have more support IMO Wolves - I want Norwich to buy Matt Jarvis
Wow, QPR are popular, aren't they? My vote would be for QPR to go down, too, for all of the reasons cited above. Other than that, I would like Wigan and Wolves to survive because I think they would definitely be down there again next season whereas I think Blackburn have the core of a mid-table team if the club stops tearing itself apart (which would probably mean replacing Kean) and surely Bolton can't be as awful again next season. I expect QPR, Wigan and Wolves to go. Bolton have an easy run-in and Blackburn score goals.
The section I have highlighted is a complete contradiction of your first paragraph!! You are right about the previous owners screwing us over and not allowing Warnock to buy anyone, whilst delaying the sale of the club till the transfer window was nearly shut. This meant Warnock had to make hasty, last minute buys (SWP and Barton). Fernandes hasn't spent silly money and is re-organising the club from the bottom up. Re-establishing an academy; new training ground and possibly moving to a new stadium. He has tried to do things the right way!! As for us being a poor man's City? Well, we have owners (The Mittals) who are wealthier than the City owners, so we could have put in stupid offers for all sorts of players. That would have been what you describe....but we didn't!! Also, the bad-blood between you and us on here stems from many, many Norwich fans drooling and nearly wetting themselves when they thought we may be docked points last season. Lastly....what goes around comes around.....enjoy this while it lasts!!
I have seen that sentence written by QPR fans time and time again, but it simply isn't true. There were a few fans that were wumming, and certainly nowhere near as many as you're saying. Also, I will remind you how you laughed at our signings at the start of the season. Not done too bad, have they?!?!
I'd actually forgotten all about the Faurlin episode. And much of what you say does stem from many City fans 'overexuberance' to see you docked points. But that aside, I would be distraught if Norwich had gone down the QPR route. We've adopted a fairly cautious approach to splashing the cash, whereas you've gone gung ho and mental - the league table suggests the NCFC approach has made more sense, this time around
Col, you've said this before about us all wanting you to be docked points, but all I remember is post after post from many Norwich fans wishing you well and hoping you wouldn't be docked any points, so in the absence of any links that back your view of things, I will have to assume that you're making it up to suit your agenda!
But, Cromer, there were not many City fans wanting them to get points deducted. Honestly, there wasn't.
The funny thing is, you 'canaries' think our fans love these 'over-payed players, barton etc' and are deluded I think you'll find most QPR fans think we're going down, and possibly more don't like Joey Barton
That may be the case now, but it certainly wasn't the case at the start of September just as the transfer window slammed shut, was it?
Cromercanary seems to remember it my way too....look at his earlier post. Selective memory Dave, that's your problem!!
Did you not read my initial reply. It's a myth that we've spent "silly money". We could...but we haven't!! Fernandes is trying to build the club up from the bottom in the right way!!
How much have you spent on transfer fees? Then tell us how much your new signings are earning on a weekly basis.
I do recall a lot of people wanting you to have a massive points deduction! It's just that the vast majority of them were not Norwich fans!
May I suggest that you read the last two paragraphs of this report, and still tell me you have not spent 'silly money'. And - assuming the report is true, how can anyone, pre or post Fernandes, justify paying a thug that sort of dosh. That's more than half our squad earn collectively, and we're safe, yet you're in the mire. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...cost-of-joining-the-Premier-League-elite.html
