http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2707995,00.html? Chester should be back in a couple of games, as should Koren, but we're flying by the seat of our pants now. Not that it really matters of course, our season died at the close of the transfer window, but hey-ho, there's always next season.
Or the season after that... Seen as it looks like the season is over at least we can test out Cooper and Bradley for a few league games and see if they can perform at this level consistently or whether we'll need to get in two defenders (probably on loan or on a free by the sounds of it) instead of one over summer.
yep I think we need to look at it this way, Barmby knows that too, of course he can't admit it. he may need to admit the lack of investment in january has ultimately cost us however..
I worded that crapply, I hope Nicky has realised that we need to sign a striker, whether that be on loan, a free or for a fee (if we can afford it)
Chester and Stewart will be sold to Leicester. Brady will be going back to man utd. Oli and Simpson will be gone on free transfers. Mannone won't be coming as we can't afford him. Can't think of any of our other players who will be transfer targets in the summer. I wouldn't get your hopes up that we will have any !!
The way Stewart is playing we should have taken the million in January! Okay I don't mean it, the kid has quality but he needs to sort his head out and start grafting. There's no back up plan if the step-over fails.
According the OWS link Barmby said that Dudgeon is out for 3 months with a hamstring injury. What's he done to it, as that sounds a long time for a hamstring??!!
That's true. It just seems a long time for a hamstring, considering Chester who has a hamstring problem is expected back before the end of the season
Depends on the grade of the hamstring stain and which hamstring is torn and where, e.g. grade 1 out around 1-2 weeks if on the muscle belly if on origin or insertion may be longer
Hamstring injurys can be like pandoras box, they can range between anything from a minor tweak to a potentially career ending injury. It's not uncommon for them to be a small tear or pull which should heal within a few weeks to keep a player out for months like Waghorn. Most hamstring injuries are just minor pulls/tears which keep players out for a few weeks which is why people tend to think its a fairly short injury.
I know I have not been following the board as much as I would like due to business commitments, but is there any foundation to this story, that there is no money available this summer, or is this just from Burnsies comments, and if so does Burnsie know something the rest of us don't know?
If Burnsey knew something the rest of us don't know, how would we know if he knows when we don't know ourselves?
