and many of them were bought to be prem ready and have that attitude as well. Gerrard was very very annonymous today and he is still vital and a good player for us, but talisman he is not and that hurts me as he is one of my favorite players of all time.

He went at him very aggresively so I can't see it happening but losing Reina for the cup final will have a bigger impact on the semi final than that awful performance and result. Kenny really has to have a think about what he wants to do with Carroll. He picks him quite a lot but we never, ever play to his strengths. We're stuck between two styles of football at the minute and it clearly isn't working. Also, imagine if Suarez had did what Perch did today. For me, we stick to good footy, pass and move, and if Carroll doesn't fit, then we might have to take the loss. If he stays I will back him ( as best I can) but if he doesn't fit then we need to look at what does. Have to buy to your philosophy and get players that fit a system you want to play.
Though i dislike your club hugely, i actually feel sorry for the fans, this current crop of players are something of a bad joke. To see a club like yours going down the pan is actually pretty saddening, despite my feelings towards you.
We really need players that will inject some pace into our attack. At the moment, we just pass it side to side before putting in a hopeful cross whilst never actually look to take the other team on.

That's what makes it even worse. Like today, Suarez got to the by-line, wipped in a cross to the far post but Carroll was just stood outside the box watching. Its so frustrating!
