Meowth was referring to the mods & rockers scene of Brighton's fame and quadrophenia, Channonfodder. You are probably too young to understand! <laugh>

Oh no - The Duckster's joined up.

Kingsland, you need to change your user name to....

    MR GRIMSDALE.......

Welcome aboard Ducky. On behalf of all the Pompey contingent; we look forward to your sincere debating (or should that be debatable <whistle>) comments <ok>

And as for Meowth Junior - he's not the son of mod, he's a very naughty boy!

That's the best bit of the film for me, where Brian's mum, realising the crowd are hanging on her every word, starts to think of the potential power (and all that it entails), she can have and starts to look eerily like Benito Mussolini, on the balcony in the Palazzo Venezia.

Terry Jones should have got an award for that iconic scene.

Remind me of my age by bringing that up why don't you? Talking of which I had a Lambretta SX250 in the 60's. Pulling power around the great Southsea fun fair. Saw some good gigs down there as well. Ginger Baker and his crew one Saturday night par example.

It was PFCsince70 I think that brought that up. I'm too young for all that shenanigans myself. My dad had a scooter in those days with a world cup Willie sticker on it. He wasn't a mod however. Only classical music was ever heard in our house. No Who, Small Faces, Spencer Davies, sadly.

I like the James Taylor quartet and Courduroy these days. Still listen to classics as well!
