I am not as strong as the pair of you are about the Dascombe horse, think she is a little flattered by the result, in so much she was running through green horses who were being given educations in the main. Quite a few horses in the Brocklesby that I think will have good chances in coming weeks, probably the main one is the Turner horse who impressed me with his attitude, I really liked how Marvellino travelled early on too, both should win maidens, especially around a polytrack course.
Nass: Good grief didn't notice as didn't have much of an interest in the Brocklesby, but well done lad on getting the winner My Boy Bill. Also with Woodland Mill at Kempton too. Great tipping, well done!

A few of you may remember myself and possibly GDC (think it was him) who almost struck gold on a 50/1 punt on TOGETHER in the 1000 Guineas when she was an unlucky 2nd. Strange to have the flat back- seems to have rolled round quickly! 2.10 Doncaster: MUTAFAAKIR 7/1 I think following Hamdan Al Maktoums runners in maidens might be good for value seeking as now he finally has a proper jockey on who is hard to beat in a finish. This one is really well bred, Gosden does very well at Doncaster and has a good strike rate with maiden runners, so with Hanagans first ride for Hamdan Al Maktoum, we can see a really bold showing hopefully. 2.45 Doncaster: SONNING ROSE 22/1 e.w- Mick Channon has placed this horse in really hot races for some time and now his mark is finally beginning to look realistic. Overpriced on best form and showed in glimpses last season that the ability is all there, so in slightly less hot company today I think looks a really interesting each-way shout. Doncaster 3:55: QUESTIONING 10/3 (NAP)- Was a very unlucky loser on reappearance last season in a seriously hot race that threw up Auld Burns, Measuring Time, Namibian and more. That proved he was a horse with loads of potential but crucially for todays purposes that he goes well fresh. Side Glance is a class act but 10/11 on seasonal reappearance is too short.
I think he's had a fair few already Toppy, certainly on the all weather, This may be his first turf ride
You're right Oddy- I forgot to say turf! I just felt that Born To Surprise was very short judged on the form of his 2nd on debut- the 3rd has won one from 4 since, off a mark of 57
Good afternoon gentlemen/women, from a sunny, if not, murky Teesport! (Murk as in all manner of chemical discharges belching from a miriad of hideous chimmneys and smoke stacks)!! Had a little(ish) dabble on the lavelle hoss , cheers Stick, and another small(ish) dabble on the Noseda steed, cheers Kenyatta....so here's hoping! like the look of Gerard Butlers horse in the next at Donny. Nordic Quest. Stable flying at the mo and wasn't disgraced in 2 end of season maidens lasy year. No doubt his other runner Star Date will hack up now...but ya never know. Also like Sonning Rose later on. Channon having a good start to the season too.....and this horse could be very well handicapped on previous form? Good luck!!
This maiden is interesting, I was looking for an EW angle but the only one I could find was the Clive Cox horse who has been supported. The two from the Ger Butler yard are both bred to want a good bit further and I have worries about the debuntants and also the two market principles. So tempted to back the Cox horse to place, but I will just watch.
Strange fluctuations on Born To Surprise - heavily backed this morning into 8/11 and now drifting alarmingly, out to 7/4
Experience won the day there. Nice debut from Mutafaakir though - wasn't really sure what was happening during the race but showed some ability Cats
I've backed stick's horse in the first at Ascot (so my fault if it gets beat) Having said that, I backed Kings Bayonet on his last 3 runs so no doubt that one will hose up
