If somebody from Glasgow is playing football for a team and they are playing a team from Edinburgh and he says, "Lets get into these east caost ****ers", does that make him a racist? (I know generally they would be the same race, but it all comes under the same umbrella)

No, I don't get your point. I am happy to have the discussion, I just don't get the point. There isn't an extensive history of The West coast oppressing the east coast.
My point was, that if things keep going they are(lets keep NI out of it just now) its going to come to a point that you can't call somebody an Edinburgh **** or ginger bastard, or a lanky ****er or a fat ****er blah blah blah. I'm probably not explaining it very well, which I blame on wine.
