Might be of interest for you guys, Sami got the permanent job and has signed a three-year contract: http://www.bayer04.de/B04-DEU/de/_md_aktuell-dt.aspx?aktuell=aktuell-7145 I think he deserved it, won 4 out of the 6 games he was in charge of, remained unbeaten and got Leverkusen to qualify for the EL.
i totally agree in what everyone has said about sami good luck in your managers job .with a bit of luck sami you could even be our manager in the near future
OH BOY HE GOT THE JOB PERMANENT. Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia has been named as the permanent manager of German side Bayer Leverkusen. The Finn was appointed caretaker boss of the Bundesliga club in early April and secured four wins and two draws in his six games in charge. Now Hyypia, along with assistant Sascha Lewandowski, has signed a three-year deal with Leverkusen. "Although we did not know each other beforehand and only had little time to develop a concept, the last weeks for Sascha, the club and I were successful," said the Reds legend. "For Bayer to now give us a chance to carry on together is a great show of faith. "We are convinced that, with this team and with these colleagues, we will be able to play a good role both at home and abroad in future.'' I think he could be a shout for a future Liverpool manager. He seems to be a natural leader and with a bit of experience behind him he could have the makings of a top manager, him as manager, Carra as defensive coach and Robbie Fowler as forwards coach with Danny Murphy as free kick and penalty coach
