I don't know why but that's how it feels to me, this time we won't let slip of our lead like we did in the 09/10 season, and in the 99/00 season we were going through an transitional period with Peter Schemeichel Retiring or so it seemed like it but he went to Sporting Lisbon, i remember both season very well especially the 09/10 season that for me is the worst season i've been since a United fan, it was awful. I'm also suprised at us being topp of the league with 8 games to go, to tihnk we've had every first team player injured this season and we're still battling to keep our trophy is a credit to the backroom staff, the manager and the players. I think if we go on to win it this season this will mean much more to me becuase it was Man City and they did spend alot of money during the summer, I would go one step further and say it would be the manager's best achievement if we win it, probably better than winning the treble. Thoughts ?
I think he's right on both counts.Watching Ballotelli's antics at the free kick yesterday I wondered what SAF's reaction would have been.Or what Shankly or Clough would have done.City are imploding in a fireball of recrimination at having thrown away the title. Most entertaining.Grant Holt will deliver the coup de grace on the 14th.
Ballotelli is a good player, but he's not what I would call a stand out player. I wouldn't say he is any better than Dzeko, Aguero or Tevez. What I'm trying to say is I don't think they would miss him if he wasnt playing. So if I was in Mancini's position id have him on the bench
