Out most of yesterday but can't believe some of the negative posts on here after one defeat away from home to a team in a match that was always going to be difficult. We are still top and unless we lose to skates and Reading beat Leeds we will still be top with only 5 games to go! If you would have said we'd effectively be three games clear of West Ham with 6 matches left a few weeks ago I'd have called you mad! Lets stick together smash the skates, win at Palace and then clinch promotion at home to Reading. All sing WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON AND WE ARE GOING UP!!!!!
The cat is round at my neighbours and refuses to come home and we haven't seen the dog since just after 7.00 pm yesterday. The very lovely you know who blames me and says we will probably not see either of them again until the football season is over. She also says I had better not answer the door just in case it is the RSPCA Inspector investigating people accused of kicking their cat and/or dog. Apparently quite a lot of it went on in Southampton yesterday evening.
Does this need a thread? I'm sure after every game we lose a thread like this turns up. Just bump one if you want to make a point
Good post. I'd also like to post something else... About this time last year, Norwich City lost 3-0 away to Play-Off hopefuls Swansea City. They then went on a run and clinched automatic promotion.
Yes agree! Don't want to be one of those i'm superior fans but i spent a fortune going up and staying at a travelodge on friday night and spending money all day in blackpool and the like, was very down at the game but our great support gave me a big lift for the long journey home and at the end of the day it was just a bad day at the office and one we can move on from and try and achieve promotion.Gonna forget yesterday and just think about the position we are in now,6 points clear of third, happy days!
In a good position and remember Reading lost recently and then thrashed West Ham. Advantage is ours and result is end of season not on 31st March.
