Yeah, just tell everyone you support them all your life while your munching on you're prawn sandwhiches
I see more Leeds shirts than I do Man U in Newcastle. Glad you bastards haven't properly infiltrated the North East yet.
Utd do have a 'global' fanbase thats reportedly on par with Real Madrid. Our fanbase though smaller is 'global'.
Hello frank. Yeah quiet tonight mate,i was just pointing out to the cowboy that Utd aren't the only club with a global fanbase(although they have the biggest).
A few years back I thought it was a Blue thing. Everton fans saying nobody in Liverpool supports Liverpool, City fans saying nobody in Manchester supports Utd, they all live/come from down south. When I speak to expats or Brits over here, football always comes up, and I say I support Utd and THEN tell them I'm from Manchester, it seems to make a big difference. It starts with a groan then "oh at least your from Manchester". I know a couple of City fans out here, and neither of them are from Manchester, but from deepest darkest Cheshire. And I know a couple of Liverpool fans, born and bred in Stockport of all ****ing places, with no ties to Liverpool.
I get the same thing here in Cyprus, where you are born does seem to make a difference with ex-pats, the locals don`t bother.
Has anyone ever even seen a prawn sandwich? Does such a thing even exist outside the mind of Roy Keane and ABUs?
united have attracted match going fans for decades through good bad & indifferant and always will so **** off with the patronising glory hunting bobbins.
How many away tickets did you get 4-5k so if there's 6k utd fans from London, for example, then you will be outnumbered but OT holds 75k so the ratio is still very low.
Arsenal fans would outnumber United fans almost 20 to 1 at the Emirates, you'd still get more United fans going back to Manchester than Arsenal
