Every season, a team no one thinks will be involved, gets dragged into the relegation dog fight. It is usually the team everyone says is too good to go down and the ones that have too many good players.

Villa look like a team that could very easily be dragged into the mire and for me, after all the villa bell ends that came on here after Judas signed for them last year and told us how much of a bigger club they were, it wouldn't come too soon.

That and I'd love to see Judas in the Championship next season.

Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, QPR, Wolves and Villa are all in the ****e. If Bolton and Blackburn win their game in hand, they go perilously close to the trapdoor. Wolves are gone already and have no chance (1 point in 18 since MM was sacked is dreadful) but all the others are fighting and scrapping for their lives. I don't see the same fight in the Villa team and they have a complete plonker for a manager.

    Pld-Pts
    15 Aston Villa 30 33
    16 Bolton 30 29
    17 Blackburn 30 28
    18 QPR 31 28
    19 Wigan 31 28
    20 Wolves 31 22

I can easily see Bolton, Blackburn and QPR winning a few games, and Villa are truly awful at the minute.

Could easily happen, and it will be one of those rare moments when us and the Mags has a chuckle together if it does.

We could then pilfer them for Collins, Albrighton & Agbonlahor.

We'd be linked with N'Frog again, of course...

I was going to post this myself Cest', I'm even tempted to have a flutter on it! They are sinking like a stone. I'm not sure what the Villa run in is like?

6 points max for me. 39 the best they can do IMO. The crucial game will be against Bolton at home which they will have to win.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing the Vile take the Great Drop.

Would love to see a massive banner made for the game against us which reads something like "who's the bigger team now Bent?" or something like that. Would make my day to see that smug ****ers face look as long as Sarah Jessica Parkers.

McLeish took down Birmingham last season, now if he takes down Villa this, he better get the **** out of that city. <laugh>

Be great it it happens and until yesterdays results id have said no chance butter I bet they are starting to get twitchy.

Seeing their starting 11 on motd last night you can see why they are down their, very weak. Lerner deserves if for appointing McLeish, awful decision

    Wigan are staying up :)

QPR have a shocking run in and ok they get the odd win but there run in is awful

Wolves are awful atm and aare gone (never to return imo)

    AV could be going down

Blackburn and bolton look to have scrambled away but blackburn could fall

wigan are still in there but were playing really well atm

Cest, I hoped that they would be relegated until the sad news about Petrov now I hope they stay up for him; but there is a real danger they will be sucked in once the battle for survival starts.
