I was a full back that used to get played as a striker when we were losing, the idea was that I'd kick lumps out of the center backs. Got a few goals though.

Ive 3 in 5 games but there from corners so nothing that id not have got playing cb , tried a bit of showoff skill in the last game and nearly broke my jaw off the ground <dontaskitshardtoexplain>
My old coach used to send me up front with the brief of "just do what you do at full back and just hit the target if you get a chance". So I'd run around kicking people and clear the ball (at the goal) it seemed to work.

its hard to explain but the ball came across and i was was still tipsy<fromthenightbefore> and it was a bit behind me, so in my mind a sideways scorpion/backwards scissor kick was the only option. Except i missed the ball totally and ended up head first into the ground, our keeper said he heard the thump

I'm left footed and was fairly quick when I was young so I played left wing. As I've admitted before on these pages though, I was a bit ****e. Never understood how you could love football so much yet be so ****in useless at it. Fortunately it was a long time ago now so when I talk to people in the real world I can pretend I was brilliant.
