Why do the premier league have to be such bitches?

  1. I uploaded a video about the Toon last week. Alot of people liked it, it got over 1000 views in its first few days and alot of praise.

However, the premier league decided that they didn't want "their property" in the video, so they filed a copyright complaint against me and it got taken down.

Why? I wasn't making a profit, all i was doing was showing footage of my team and sharing the video i made with a few thousand toon fans, whats wrong with that?

If i was making money, then fair enough, but i'm just a simple youtube user uploading a video i worked on.

some montages are taken down for using parts of the movie their montaging, some videos have no music because the VEVO (some music corp.) say its infringement on copy right.
Youtube has gone crazy copyright lays lately.

  4. Youtube used to be awesome when the creator owned it, but then he sold it for something like 1.65 billion to google. Can't say i blame him, but he couldn't have sold it to a worse organisation. Google will slowly take over the whole internet until there's nothing left but google. Google porn!

SSN have the rights to the games and highlights (and BBC allowed to show on MOTD of course), if anyone could just watch them for free they'd lose millions (as would the FA) because people wouldnt watch and pay to see them.

I think if you post it again after the end of the season they wont care.

    It's copyright infringement chap.

If a person/organisation uses an image without express permission and without meeting the funding required to use said material then it has to be removed.

Google is a business at the end of the day and despite thier monopoly and over the top actions for infringements against their policy are within their rights to remove it.

To be honest. Get used to it as copyright infringement online is going to get tougher.

You have to think of how many millions are spent to acquire rights to the games and highlights still cost a hefty fee. then someone comes along and puts them on youtube for free. you can see why the rights holders will try their best to have the videos taken down.
