Just wondered how many Pompey tickets were left for next weekends game? I heard today that apparently 1000+ people are still yet to buy coach travel for the game.
Can you blame them Rickie after the way Saints fans treated our much esteemed ex-Chief Executive, Peter Storrie, at the last meeting at St Marys ? Twas truly terrible for the poor mite
Now, now Possum !! That's not very charitable, is it ? All Pompey fans are worried that poor old Rickie Lambert's groin strain will stop him playing - did he get it by picking up too many boxes of meat pies from Lidl ? He should have asked for free home delivery...........
Pie jokes aside Wd, you must be embarrassed if you don't dell all your tickets ? Purely because there is a possible chance you might lose. Poor effort.
My father reckons that some of their fans would be quiet happy to spend £20 on a ticket and then go to the ground simply to cause trouble. Hope this wouldn't be the case!
Difficult to cause trouble in a bubble though really. I four one would be very surprised in Pompey did not sell out their allocation. Perhaps they are not all as guns-ho as SB3?
"dell" all your tickets ? Surely you play at St Marys now, don't you ? Please don't direct us to your old ground - that would never do. Pie jokes aside, will Rickie be fit to play next weekend - that is the key question on everyone's lips ?????
Channonfodder, I mean: Pompey have sold more match tickets than coach tickets. You have to buy both and will not get your match ticket until you have boarded the coach and set off. My dad reckons that those who have bough a match ticket and not a coach ticket would be quite happy to lose £25 just to turn up (outside of the bubble) and cause trouble. That is based on his experiences. Hope that makes sense!
Very difficult to get all the letters etc right on a phone Wd And I was cooking too You do seem to worry that, fat old pie eater Lambert might play. Your team is certainly not choice steak but i am sure your on his menu
Cooking and typing a reply to the thread at the same time ? You can multi task like a woman can ? - very impressive, I must say What are you cooking for tea ? Where do you live, only I'll bring the wine, if I'm invited
The good lady has been at work at Exeter Hospital so Cooking roast beef, drinking a bottle of Stella and iPhone typing whilst looking after the kids. If your impressed with that wait till you see the boys in Red and White next week.
I have 3 very good friends who follow Pompey (nice people too, believe it or not) They tell me that have the "crowd" starting leaving after Burnley,s 3rd goal. Don,t think you'll have that option at St Mary,s : you,ll be locked for the painful 90 minutes.
So any further news on the coach tickets? I would hate to think that thousands of your fans had decided that having bought the tickets they didn't want to go now?
Given the shambolic way our ticket office is run at SMS at the moment, we have no way of telling whether the home end is sold out. And good luck to those poor souls trying to buy tickets! I believe over 30,000 tickets have been sold for the fixture, which includes 2,900 Pompey. Marketing and communications needs a complete revamp at season's end!
From what I read on here, our shambolic system is a model of perfection compared to Pompeys. Isn't that right, girls?
I thought Storrie was given too much respect IMO! Had he wandered into your fans he might have been hung, drawn and quartered, n'est pas?
