has anyone got any news when webber will be fit? is he going to play this season or even stay with the club?
Who knows!? He isn't expected to be fit until the end of April/beginning of May, by which time the season will basically be over. His contract will be over come summer, and will Cotterill really want to sign him after not seeing him play at all? Only time will tell...
Shame really, as I fervently believe that he would have been brilliant in the Championship for us, as it's more his level.
Hopefully, from the Reading game onwards he should be on the bench for every game, getting 10-15 mins each game, possibly getting a start last game against scunny?? And considering we wont have much moolah in the summer, we must surely be relying pretty heavily on frees. So, Webber must be considered as one of these frees and essentially starting with us from scratch, but with the bonus of already being settled. If he were to leave in the summer I would be massively suprised, cos if we cant afford webber, then who the hell can we afford?!
Hoadie-boi he has been out for exactly one year (this weekend) - he ruptured a cruciate knee ligament at Tottenham.
God, that is well long, Hope you get to see him back soon, We still have Simon King out as he has been out for 23 months now, All he managed was a 15 minute apperace back in January but got injured so had to go off and hasn't featured even the bench since. Think he is coming back maybe on teh bench this weekend, Shame he has been ot so long he was a very good player
