I didn't point any finger of blame, I implied as a UK citizen I have the right to sing political songs which are not in the mainstream - and that my politics are just as valid as yours. I'd like to see what songs you are referring which contain lyrics about murder.

Do you think you're some sort of modern day, Joe Cahill or something?

Basically things that offend you should be banned but things that don't should not be.

I don't like the IRA songs some of our fans sing but they are not sectarian. Should they be banned? In my opinion yes because I personally don't like them but they in my opinion add nothing to football and only do continuing harm to the fans who have no time for it.

Has anyone tried banning Big Jock Knew? No? I personally find that far more heinous than songs about the IRA but no one condemns that ditty or campaign. It's not sectarian, just like IRA songs, but it offensive to a lot of people.

Freedom of speech should only be allowed where causing offense is NOT (oops) the prime or only motivation.

    Oh, ok then <doh>

    Lyrically?

I hope you die in your sleep Nacho Novo.

Soon there will be no Prods at all.

    By definition, they imply murder.

Ok fair enough - I guess my only qualm about singing political songs is these should not be in a football ground. agreed?

My politics are as valid as yours isn't actually true though(not yours personally). Remember years ago Hader(or somebody like that) won the election in Austria and they had to do it again. Also the way the BNP guy getting ambushed on Question Time was a disgrace too. A bit off topic, I know, but who really is Trev?

The first one is not a Republican song and I've never heard of the second one.

I've always said we should keep politics out of football grounds, including Poppies.
