It doesn't take a genius to work out what pattern this game will take on. Can we hang on for 90 minutes with so little support for Lafferty? I very strongly doubt this. I don't know what point Worthington is attempting to make with this lineup and ommissions but if he wants to see where the real problem lies, he should have a wee look in the mirror. His pre-historic, backs to the wall, underdog til we die, hoofball tactics are doing us more harm than good.
In the end if you pick too many players who dont play 60/90 minutes on a regular basis at a good level you will be found out at international level -Gorman/Clingan/Healy/Feeney/J Evans. I know some of these guys didnt play the full match but you just look like you ran out of puff.Good effort but no cigar.
