Yet again Wenger shoots Arsenal in the foot, and it's days like these that leave fans like me very frustrated and angered with him...All you blinker fans can say oh well everyone losses eventually, sorry, today's loss was a direct result of Wenger's decision, there's a difference between losing, and losing because the manager has made clear mistakes that cost the team. Where to start with Wenger's errors. For starters, he plays Ramsey who has been poor all season, and to compound the problem he plays Ramsey out of position, so he plays a poor player in a position he doesn't even play at, out on the wing. And it was clear throughout the game that this decision was stifling our attack, we had no left winger. QPR were there for the taking, they have one of the worst defences in the league, so instead of going with an attacking formation against them, a formation and team that has been working week in week out, Wenger decides to change it and in turn stifles our attack and invites on pressure to our team. Seriously, all you fans who defend Wenger to the death, explain how on earth Ramsey warrants a start on the left wing ahead of OXO? Perhaps you can also explain why Wenger decided to change the formation and the team that has consistently been getting us points? We even had a weeks rest, so fatigue can't be an excuse, at the end of the day, there are ZERO excuses for Wenger's decisions and plain and simple, they were stupid mistakes by Wenger, that has costed us big time. Facts are facts, Wenger has f--ked us over today, as he has done on many occasions this season, this is another one to add right up there with Stupid Wenger decisions.
I really want the blinker brigade to answer the main question, what warrants Ramsey a starting place ahead of OXO on the left wing????? Common, let's hear it. Because the blinker brigade will say ohhh look at these fans, they just moan whenever we lose bla bla bla, but as everyone can clearly see, there were big mistakes today that clearly cost us the game, and you'd have to be blind to sit silently and act like they didn't occur, so having said that, if i'm wrong for moaning, and saying we did big mistakes that cost us the game, then explain how Ramsey starts on left wing (not his position) over OXO (his position) who has been playing excellent for us down the wing?
Considering the fact that EVERYONE complained about Ramsey playing on the wing, I think you have no point here
Wenger tried to play an away match safe by putting Ramsey instead of a winger. I guess the idea was for Ramsey to help defend the midfield. I actually would agree with this decision. Only problem -Ramsey was poor. In both goals there was no defensive midfielder helping our CBs. QPR had acres of space in front of our goal. The more I watch Ramsey the more I want Wilshere back asap.
Your right, he was that bad that he made the other 9 outfield players play terrible, get a grip, every player was terrible, particularly TV and arteta were just as bad
Yes, one bad player can make the whole team play bad because he stifles everything else. Ramsey greatly hindered our attacking play, and we didn't even have a proper left winger in the game, that's a MASSIVE HANDICAP for the attack of our team, and as a result of a poor attacking display from our team, we invite pressure on ourselves. Just like one player can make the whole team play good (RVP), one player and a bad change out of formation can greatly stifle everything. And it wasn't just Ramsey on the pitch, other factors include Wenger not making changes when it was time to do so, changing the entire formation of the team, basically changing a winning formula, you've got to be blind if you think all of these combined factors were not costly errors that cost us. And oh, we had a week's rest, and another week's rest to come, so there was no excuse to change ANYTHING, there weren't even any injuries.
Ramsey is too slow in possesion. He slows down our whole team. it is like playing Emile Heskey in the barcalona team. He would cripple them.
And that's my point, why the F--K do you want to play it safe against QPR? QPR have one of the worst defences in the league, they're form is terrible, they are battling relegation, while us on the other hand had excellent form, one of the best attacks in the league etc, and we decide to play it safe against someone like QPR??? We didn't play it safe against Milan, Spurs, Liverpool etc, far tougher teams than QPR, and we did brilliantly, but for QPR we just decide to go in safely???? Also the fact that we did go into this game to play it more safely is the very reason why we invited pressure onto ourselves, by giving up that attacking incentive, we invited the pressure and allowed QPR onto ourselves.
Yes - AW dropped a clanger today - precisely at the wrong moment. It was an unexplainable decision to play him on the wing, and frankly he should not even be on our bench.
I think you have to point the finger of blame at the players more. The centre-halves between them got bullied by Zamora, Rosicky barely touched the ball and Walcott was at his ineffective worst. I think it more a case of complacency from the players than poor management.
Thank you. Everything is 100% Joey Barton's fault on our board on the 9 out of 10 occasions we are ****.
Wish we could play you every week. Im afraid Arsenal are easily one of the worst team weve played at home this season apart from Wigan. Think it was just an off day for you guys and trophies arent to far round the corner for your club. Hopefully well beat Tottenham when they visit Loftus Road in a few weeks and do you a favour, but i think its to little to late for QPR to stay up unless we can win at Old Trafford next week which will give us new hope.
