For taking 4 points off Man City, i appreciate it, and now to our fans been disappointed about today's result, we're still top of the league 2 points clear of Man City, and to think we were written off at the start of the season, they have done very well, the players have stepped up this season and i'm happy with them. Thoughts ?
Im glad Man city drew today and dropped 2 points but lets not get over excited now, there's still 7 games to go and that still a long way to go but im hoping we win 5 games in a row and i have believe we can and hopefully we make the city game a not must win game but i still remember few months ago people were saying Man city were the confirmed winners and to them who kept on writing our chances of saying there's no way man Utd as any chance of winning the league, where are they gone? they've gone silent now haven't they?
Exactly and i'm glad they are quiet I know there's a long way to go in the title race but i feel we will beat blackburn on monday.
top performance by sunderland, robbed of all 3 points by inept reffing (or perhaps simple bias, after that arsehole vieiras contrived comments this week).
My first thought is they've taken five points of City. My second thought is YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
True, but they've also cracked City's perfect home record. That was they key in Newcastle's collapse in 1996, here's hoping for some deja vu...
Dont get to excited Man U fans weve beaten Liverpool and Arsenal in the last 10 days and have a week to prepare and come and give you a repeat of the drubbing that was handed out at OT (1-4)when you won the league in1 992. The QPR team are playing for their careers and 3pts will be on the agenda next week as we continue our end of season revival. Come on you Rs.
Don't mean to belittle your team but out of all are fixtures qpr is low on the list for ones I'm worried about.
A win against Blackburn would be huge. If we then won our next home game (against QPR) we would have an 8 point lead over City before they take on Arsenal.
This. Pretty sure the last time QPR got a result away from home was October? That said, it's exactly the type of match we'll probably screw up!
QPR struggled enough to beat 9 man Chelsea even with the ref in their pockets. There's a reason they're in the relegation zone and I hope they go down. Shockingly bad team.
Yeah, I was at that game. New years day, lovely pile of **** on view. We didn't win the league though, Leeds did, and there is pretty much zero chance of a repeat. As another poster said, of all the games coming up you lot at home is very much the least of our worries.
