Stiliyan Petrov has just arrived at Villa Park with his family. He was waving at fans as he went into the ground and looked in good spirits. Villa supporters plan to show their appreciation for their captain, who was diagnosed with acute leukaemia this week, with a tribute in the 19th minute

 

Stiliyan Petrov is in his seat at Villa Park, smiling, shaking hands and signing autographs. He got a great reception from the Chelsea players when he met them a few minutes ago too.

 

Plenty of banners showing appreciation for Stiliyan Petrov on display at Villa Park. A reminder that Villa fans are to show their support for their captain, known as Stan, with a standing ovation in the 19th minute of today's game following his diagnosis with acute leukaemia.

 

And now the Villa supporters are giving Petrov a standing ovation. The Bulgarian international, who is in a hospitality box with his family today, rises to his feet to acknowledge the crowd. He is putting on a brave face but he looks very emotional.
