Rangers manager Ally McCoist fears mass http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/footba...s-player-exodus-during-summer-86908-23807856/
The thing I can't understand is why Whyte didn't sell Edu in January. He was willing to sell or get rid of everyone else. The only reason I can think of is he tried to hold out for more money and the deal fell through.
Why didn't he sell any of his sellable assets last summer when the PAYE and NI bill was mounting? Why did he improve the contracts of high earners at the club when he hadn't paid PAYE or NI on their existing contracts? Why did he register more players with the club when he hadn't paid a single penny in in PAYE or NI? He's a ****ing crook. This mass exodus from poundland is a certainty if they aren't already dead by then. The tone of the meeja over the last while is so sadly predictable. No Admin. Maybe Admin. We don't want Admin Admin is probably a good thing. Admin. No liquidation Liquidation is a possibility We don't went liquidation. Guess what comes next?
Knowing them ****s it will probably happen I understand the need for papers to sell. I get them drip feeding a story, but I don't get how they can't just tell the truth. I have always maintained that liquidation was the most likely outcome. Nothing that has happened to this point has made me change that view. I can't believe that these columnists didn't understand what appears, at least to an idiot like me, to be very obvious. If they don't die, I'll be more surprised than if they do. It'll take the mother and father of all rescues that'll make the rescue of the Chilean miners look like the fire brigade getting a cat out of a tree.
That was great when the Chilean miners were rescued and they were all wearing shades - like some discombobulated Blues band. Well, I liked it, anyway. Correct. And utterly brazen with it.
It's like a soap opera. They need to string the story out as long as possible so they can keep people hooked, ie buying papers. Now, now Psycho. He's never been convicted of any crime so cannot be labelled a crook. The bloke is a genius and what he's done to Rangers took balls of steel. Not only has he got his hands on one of Britain's biggest football clubs for a mere pound, he's sold off all the family silver and put them into such a position that the only realistic ways out are for a bidder to buy his shares from him (in which case he pockets millions) or they get liquidated and re-emerge as a newco which means he still owns the club but with no debt. He then sells the club for several millions. Hell, he's such a genius he's even got the halfwit supporters to pay to watch what was supposed a charity match last night in which they raised thousands of pounds in order to pay the chaps from D&P's day to day expenses. The bloke's a ****ing hero
But stringing the story out by presenting very obviously flawed assessments destroys their credibility. Observers of this story have fallen into three camps; a) Rangers are ****ed- Made up of opposition fans. 2) Lets wait and see.- Made up of all sorts of fans. iii) This ain't happening- Rangers fans and the odd Celtic fan. Group iii are the only ones falling for this line of **** they are being fed. The point we are at right now is the only way this thing could have gone. The options now are for Whytey to cut his winnings and head for the hills and sell to the bloonights (which I think would only prolong the hilarity), or carry on with the plan and kill them. I don't get the deification of Shooter. He is an excellent poker player and I don't begrudge him making money by killing them, but I do begrudge the crooked way he has done it. http://soundcloud.com/celticresearch/ssb-29-3/s-6BbQo I think Britney could be talking about a few of us with his appraisal of the caller in the last 30 seconds of this clip. My starting position was to want them gone, but nothing I have said about them has been irrational.
Good point. I even made a similar point myself a while back. How come I didn't realise all of this and praise him accordingly? I had him down as a Rangers man with the best interests of the club at heart. I sometimes confuse the word "crook" with the word "saviour", though. Still, if you don't admire his business practice, you've got to at least admire his morality and sense of the greater good. Don't be stupid. He owns a football club, which makes him a man of the people. It's not as if he's some inexhaustibly greedy venture capitalist. He'll plough everything back into the club he's always loved. I stand corrected. You took that too far.
I take it we all heard that liquidation was a way to wipe the debts and start again? Liquidation is a good thing. .......Liquidation. The new club must be in the SPL...... Better off starting lower down Out of the SPL It must be SPL2 or division 1. There will be "civil unrest" (seriously) if "Rangers are not in division 1......
"... our application to rejoin the SPL ..." ? It seems that honesty is just a step too far for these barstewards.
