    Can play as a winger/striker by all accounts. I'd play him as a winger, him and HBA either side of a striker (possibly Sow as well from Lille, seeing as we're been linked to him too)
    Lille play Gervinho Sow Hazard up front I think?

    Decent goal to game ratio for a winger.

    Wouldn't that be a bit too greedy, you know having Sow and Gervinho.. I'll take Gervinho because of his versatility but Sow is the proven goalscorer. How about just forget about them, bring Xisco back and buy Eden Hazard! :)

    Plays on one side, I can't remember which ha sorry.

    Yeah they've got a pretty decent squad, it's mainly Gervinho Sow Hazard though so yeah, as Sanchino said I'd feel a bit bad and greedy taking both Sow and Gervinho haha

    And I think Lille are top at the minute? Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

    Never heard of Sow if I'm honest, shud we just not get Sturridge? haha

    What about:

    Barton, Tiote

    Gervinho, Ben Arfa, Jonas

    Sturridge

    That might work, but not sure about Sturridge's link up play etc, think he wud need a strike partner

    Talkin of Ben Arfa - do you think his best position is freerole behind the striker?

    Barton Tiote Jonas
    Gervinho [Striker] Ben Arfa
    Something along those lines, not exact like.

    Or, Gervinho up front as a striker, with Ben Arfa in the hole behind him as you say.
    Gervinho's versatility is what attracts me more than anything. Plus he's mint.

    I wud like it if we signed sum English talent, not just foreigners. It takes sum of them season to settle in lol

    Especially in defence, I wud like an English centre back (Stevie Taylor if he returns to best)

    I wud like to see:

    Harper

    Simpson, Taylor, Coloccini, Enrique

    Barton, Tiote, Ireland, Ben Arfa

    Gervinho

    Sturridge (sum1 like that)

    Also if Jose leaves then Van Aanholt/Warnock wud be gud

    Sturridge would be a excellent buy but unfortunately I'm not sure it'll happen because of Chelsea's ageing stars(Anelka, Drogba, Malouda, etc..). Sturridge might be the future strike-force of Chelsea with a potentially ''peak'' Torres. Another player I'll like at a reasonable price and at reasonable wages would be Pav from Spurs. Technically very good, quality finisher at times and is 3rd choice at Spurs. Although his age, wages and inconsistency would be the potential downfall in the deal.

    I agree with Pav, he can play up top on his own so wud be gud if we goin for 1 up front

    I wud lyk us to get Welbeck! haha. If he became available we shud seriusly try nd get him. Young, English with a resale vale, like Ashley wants

    Sturridge out of our reach now I think. Would be good though.

    How about, a cheaper option, if we do get Gervinho, put a sneaky £8m bid in for Agbonlahor? Gervinho Gabby Ben Arfa up front strike force. Gabby'd have plenty of deliveries, he's a brilliant player when on form IMO.
    Just possibilities.

    Maybe. Although I rate Bent more. Albrighton would be brilliant aswell and A.Young would be unreal. It's all about if's and but's to be honest. For all I care we could end up with Gervinho/Sow/Gamiero or two of them or end up with the likes of Reo-Coker, Jason Punchohon?, Shane Long/Nicky Maynard/Carlton Cole, etc.. you get my point Hippo?
