    7 games... 3 points from safety... Great Escape II is ON! <badger> I think there is a very apt saying about the situation at the bottom of the league at the moment, something about being tighter than a Nun's... purse? <whistle>

    I am fairly confident we WILL be playing championship football next season, have faith fellow blues :smiley: We must must must must MUST get the 3 points today though! Just getting ready to travel down to Fratton, I'll be there in my silly blue hat and shirt that says "JAKE 18" on the back (bless my girlfriend - she bought me a shirt for xmas and didn't realise it wasn't meant to be the first name that goes on the shirt <doh> she tried her best though).

    If it says Jake 18" on the back, I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

    Not until you hit middle age at least, anyway.

    Don't be so sure Ian - not after the way Blackpool took you apart this evening.

    Saints appeared to be "toothless", even missing a penalty.

    It will probably be a 0-0 draw.

    The difference between our performance today and yours, is that it was one of our worst of the season.

    Yours was probably somewhere near the middle.

    Completely disgusted with our performance yesterday, complete disgrace! None of those players deserve to play championship football next season, no passion, no desire, just... Disgraceful.

    We were marginally the better team in the first half Jake, and once again, should have taken our chances.

    Burnley outplayed us in the second half, especially when Charlie Austin came on for Patterson. We couldn't cope with him.
