Did anyone watch any of Europa league games last night?
I watched Schalke v Bilbao, good game, but was really impressed with Schalke centre half Pappdopulis only 20 years old, looks a really good prospect, get Graham Carr over there now and sweet talk the lad.

Cracking player but you'll do well to get him out of Schalke. And there'd be no playing 2nd fiddle to Colo or Saylor, been one of the highest rated young centre backs on the continent for a few years now. He was about 16 when he broke into the Olympiakos team! Nice thought but I don't think we'd stump up the cash required and I think we're gonna have to cute about selecting another centre back because Saylor and Colo are a great pairing which is hard to shift.

Aye I watched Schalke-Bilbao, really enjoyed the game. I'd love for us to be going up against the likes of those teams next season, **** all the Europa haters.

I know what you mean but Fulham and Stokes disjointed seasons worry me. They probably have bigger squads and struggled to cope. We have struggled to cope with league and early exits from the cup! I have no real opinion on it. If we are in great, but I'd be taking a few risks playing youngsters and reserve players, if Everton nick our spot, I will be quietly pleased it won't interrupt our assault on the premier league title.........................<laugh>

Bilbao Schalke was great watching 2 of the best strikers in Europe go against each other.

Don't know how Bilbao aren't doin better in La Liga, with Llorente, Martinez, Herrera, Muniain etc. I'd have thought they'd be the best of the rest.
