  2. I'd go with:

    Reina
    Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
    Henderson - Spearing - Gerrard
    Suarez - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bellamy
    Carroll

    Kenny's side:

    Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
    Henderson - Spearing - Gerrard - Downing
    Suarez - Carroll

honeslty i don't know if any of the three players we have missed badly are back, nor of course kelly who did well unitl yet again injured (sighs, wish that lad could stay fit)

i think that if we put our back 5 back together we'll improve a lot. I still maintain we are very likely to play 4-5-1 and no carroll.

If you want ym own team as this thread suggests we do then I'd play 4-4-2 and i;d go with Daydo's 11. kelly or johnson is a question of fitness IMO. johnson's main dfensive issue is letting guys get a run on him at the back stick or from set pieces but he is just a very very good player.

    ----------------Reina--------------------
    ------Kelly----Skrtel----Agger---------
    -Johnson---------------------Enrique--
    ---------Spearing---Gerrard-----------
    ----------------Suarez------------------
    --------Carroll-------Bellamy----------

    If injured:
    Flanagan for Johnson
    Kuyt for Bellamy
    Coates for Agger

In the 90s I used to like back 5, but the thought of it brings me out in arash these days as we have had more than a few stinkers playin back 5 in last few years

Notice Ive put Sterling on the bench, with 7 subs in the modern game, theres no reason why you cant put 1 or 2 young uns on the bench

If I could choose which injured player we could get back it would be Agger.................class!!

Our full backs are our best form of width right now. Adding an extra centre back gives them a little extra freedom to get forward.

all newkie have to do with a 3-5-2 is put guiterez and be harfa out wide play one up and push our full backs back while making our 3 cbs look spare men marking only ba.

3-5-2 can be countered with the formation and players newkie have... sorry.

i'd go for something like 442 and force newkie to think about us.

I think thats the difference between now n the 90s, teams rarely played 1 striker in the 90s, they always do it now, so if you play with 3 CBs its a waste of a man with 3 men marking 1.We did v stoke at home in the league this year, and we were shi*te going forward that day

Good idea! We will hit you on the counter attack like we did with West Brom! I don't think we will win. The loss of Colo is too big for us to handle as well as other injuries. I would take a draw!

Really hope we win, I hate Liverpool more than Sunderland now, and nearly as much as Villa who I hate the most.

433 could be worth a go. Just throw every thing at them.

  13. Is that purely down to us signing Carroll and Enrique...?

No, its mainly due to the bile constantly spouted by Dalglish and the handling of the whole Suarez situation. Add that to Steven Gerrard who should have been banged up but wasnt, and it leaves a bad taste.

We've benefitted massively from the outrageous Carroll transfer money and our 3rd, 4th and 5th choice strikers have outscored him this season, so a no there.

I miss Enrique because we haven't really replaced LB with quality but I have no hard feelings, he left for a club he thought had more ambition and at the time I agreed with him, I think hes probably realising the grass isn't always greener, but then again hes won a trophy this season so he has a point.

Post a link to Dalgish's bile against NUFC?

What the **** has the Suarez 'situation' got to do with Newcastle?

Dont blind him with science mate,he probably thinks it was fair of the British Crown Prosecution Service to allow JT to see the season out with Chelsea and to see Englands Euro's campaign out before facing justice and is quite happy Suarez got hung out to dry.

Deary me lads no need to have a go at me, I wasn't the one making racist comments towards my fellow professionals.

Whether or not John Terry gets away with it or not, the fact is Suarez is also a racist (two wrongs don't make a right) not only that but the club publicly backed him up even when he was found guilty. What kind of example does that set?

Cant stand Suarez anyway, horrible cheating diving ****er.

So in summary, I dislike Dalglish, dislike Suarez, dislike "Stevie G" and generally dislike the club as a whole, and I hope we smash you.
