What would you ban your players from having if you were a football manager? Capello banned Ketchup. I'd ban brightly coloured boots. Black, white or the same colour as the socks only!
See, it doesn't even look good. Gold is the worst. So vein. I just see it as players trying to stand out from the rest of the team.
Muzzied players have been successful for us(Souey,Terry Mac,Davey Johnno),but until ponytails prove themselves they should be banned from LFC forthwith!
Spearing would look great with a big tash. Carroll with a handle bar mustache. Skrtel with a mafia tash.
Anythin thats invented to keep the players warmer, snoods, gloves, tights. Run about a bit you tosser that ll kepp you warm
Don't tell my old school rugby teacher that; anything other than boots, socks shorts & shirt & you were a girl: which meant he could shag you....poor Nigel was a lesson we'll never forget...gloves.....
Didn't Fergie do that for all players outside of the first team goes to check... Yes... yes he did http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...United-boss-forces-youth-team-wear-black.html I'd ban twitter accounts
Why ban such pointless things that won't effect games...? Players are superstitious and if these things help them mentally then why stop them...? I'd encourage them to do anything that they think will help them as long as it is within reason.
Their football kit is their uniform, and the teams identity, and that includes foot wear. With bright boots, I often see it as players trying to stand out on the pitch, when they should fit right in with there team mates. If they want to stand out, they can do it with great skill. A lot of employers tell you what colour shoes to wear. I remember Hiddink banned track suits and I Pods for when players were rebresenting there team, but not playing or training. They had to wear suits, look tidy, and be presentable.
So, if a player feels comfy in a certain pair and truly believes that the boots are helping him to play well, possibly contributing to scoring goals too, you would still ban them...?
