With all the 'excitement' about Kacaniklic et al, I thought it was worth noting that Danny Hoessen has been going well with Fortuna Sittard. Okay it's Dutch second but he has 13 goals so far this season and is highly rated over there with quite a few top clubs alledgedly looking at him. I know Captain reckons he'll stay in Holland at the end of the season. However having had a look at some clips, I wonder if we could do worse than look to him to replace AJ ? From the clip he does look good, but remember that a YouTube compilation can even make Titus Bramble seem world class. A lot of the defending looked very suspect also. Saying that, one of the finishes really was outstanding, think it was the third goal.
