Just thought I'd tell you about my love for easter eggs :) Do you love easter eggs and what's your favourite?

At the moment I have a real craving for Mini eggs ... Nom <3

Soooo... What's your favourite? Or as a fair few of you are "past it" are you just going to be boring and go ahead and say "I don't really like chocolate, it doesn't bother me really" like my dad does? <laugh><ok>

I like chocolare cake. I don't like Easter egss because they're a ripoff, charing a fortune for a little bit of chocolate. Rowntrees udnerestimate my intelligence and my sweet tooth.

My dentist said if you're going to eat sweeties shove them all in your mouth at the same time. it's not the amount but the time spent on your teeth which does the damage so an afternoon chomping through a big bag of Revels is not good. A Milky Bar rammed in a oner (as I've always eaten them) is the healthy option.

ASDA are doing some for £1. One box you get the egg and two cream eggs with it...it costs £1 to buy two cream eggs normally so in theory you get the big egg free. <ok>

I remember being told that by a dentist when I was a kid, my Mrs thinks its just a stupid excuse for smashing a whole bag in seconds.

Do what Bluff and his fellow American's do instead of eating yummy chocolate mate.

paint eggs and hide them then find them(glad this american tradition never caught on over here).

That will save you money and keep your mind off yummy chocolate gonz

Umm, you can also do the same with those plastic eggs that are filled with all sorts of goodies. Win win for all accounts as I do love me eggs! <laugh>

You did this when you were over in the states didn't you!!

Btw, I am working hard on getting tickets to see Roma x Liverpool in Boston, going to be superb!

No Bluff i found a place called 'British Market' owned by a couple of Londoners and they sold all the stuff we love to chomp, including Cadbury's Easter Eggs

You should easily get tickets Bluff, they aren't printed yet so just get your name in the queue.

Think they go on sale in April.

You can get cadbury's easter eggs in any local store these days, but the bounty, aero, type of candy you have to head to british markets or the higher end local stores.

Heinz beans for example are 3.50 over here! The American baked beans you can get as low as 70 cents!

Hershey's bought the Nestle Rowntree trade name but make the products such as those you mention over there using Hershey chocolate instead of real chocolate.

Like BBR said, ASDA do them for a pound. And I have a Sainsbury's like 2 mins in the car from me and they do them for a pound as well. They're well worth the pound :)
I had a big one last year, was like 5 quid :L But it did have a creme egg mug with it :)

Asda is miles away from me. That's another £2.40 in bus fares. For creme eggs which are too rich for my tastes anyway. I'd also question why Easter eggs are that cheap just before Easter? Are they last year's?

Lidl are doing a pack of Kinder Buenos quite cheap. I love Buenos, me.
