There was one were he had to eat six spicy chicken wings and one of the rules was that he wasn't allowed to throw-up within five minutes of finishing
Yeah, i saw that. thought it would be a mistake to chose different flavours. I wouldn't be able to do that one, too sickly. Same with the omlette challenge.
It is on Dave at 7pm and 7.30pm every day (defo Monday to Friday). I've downloaded the first three series as I don't have a + box.
Ah okay cheers. I'm probably way off but it sort of sounds like Super size me - did you ever see it? If not this is roughly what it's about: Several legal suits have been brought against MacDonald's Restaurants that they are knowingly selling food that is unhealthy. Some of the court decisions have stated that the plaintiffs would have a claim if they could prove that eating the food every day for every meal is dangerous. As such, documentarian Morgan Spurlock conducts an unscientific experiment using himself as the guinea pig: eat only MacDonald's for thirty days, three meals a day. If he is asked by the clerk if he would like the meal super sized, he has to say yes. And by the end of the thirty days, he will have had to have eaten every single menu item at least once. Before starting the experiment, he is tested by three doctors - a general practitioner, a cardiologist and a gastroenterologist - who pronounce his general health to be outstanding. They will also monitor him over the thirty days to ensure that he is not placing his health into irreparable damage... If I remember correctly he got really fat :L But can you blame him. I think he used to puke after every meal as well as the actual meal itself was massive and he had to eat it all :L
I saw some of them but it didn't really interest me. Man v Food is a guy (Adam Richman) touring the USA taking on various food challenges and visiting places with a famous menu. He eats massive burgers, spicy chicken wings, hugh omlettes, etc. The guy is a beast and legend. This is the steak challenge I watched earlier:
I thought that when he went for the xmas one / coffee one etc I thought - what are you doing you bellend. All banana and I'd have walked it
That first one I watched he was eating an ice-cream called 'the kitchen sink' where he had a hour to eat it. After forty minutes the different flavours had melted together to make a soup like substance, he said that was the difficult part
That's one massive steak! Looks good though, especially when it's cooked medium rare Would take me ages to eat all of that though lol.
I know it doesn't compare but I had a 20oz steak the other day (also med-rare) that didn't touch the sides. I went home and had a pizza! Hence me saying I reckon I could do that one, it's just the sides that would be difficult.
I'd have gone chocolate or vanilla, maybe 50:50 between the two as one flavour would be boring and hard once you get fed up with it.
Haha. I normally only really have steaks when I go on holiday cause they're so good, I only have a 8oz steak and that's enough for me. I do have a loaded jacket potato with it as well and onion rings yummmmmy, making me hungry!!
There used to be a pub / restaurant near near me that served a mixed grill on a 18" wide plate, they would bring a separate 12" plate out full of chips PS - I should probably point out that I am not some massive 30 stone bloke, I am a fraction over 13 stone!
I'm a short arse at just 5ft 8in but, as you've probably already noticed, I'm also 31 so I'm putting it down to age timber.
5ft 8 isn't that small. Could be worse, my nephew is the same age as me, I'm 2 months older than him but he's like 5ft 5 or 5ft 6
I need a new TV series. Tried Deadwood and was ok, tried Fringe pilot and didn't like it. I need help I'm having to watch Greys Anatomy with the wife, which is ok but I need man TV. That's MAN TV not TV MAN.
Watch more than the pilot of Fringe. The other half bought me the box set first series, I watch the first 2 or 3 and thought this isn't for me but if you stick with it it's actually really good Either that or watch Supernatural - that's also very very good and propert MAN TV
