    Unfortunately, I was delayed in getting to a monitor, and did not see the incident with Chandhok, so cannot speculate as to the cause, or whether it was driver error.

    However, if it was, this has clearly done nothing to improve his stock value, which until now had been quite respectable. What a shame. If it was his error, it'll have bought no favours from the team&#8230;

    IMO, it wasnt his fault. It was damp and was just caught out.

    looked very strange, a fairly slow speed exit. I'm sure what happened will become apparent later today.

    The impression I got from watching practice is that the team believed it was 100% his fault.

    It looked like he didn't realise it was damp and maybe got on the throttle too early and lost the rear?

    I feel really sorry for him though.
