Match colour of kit question ?

    In what away match did Cardiff City wear purple with a stripe of yellow in the sleeve tops ?

    Clue ,it was in the 70`s and worn just the once .

    Know this as Peter King told me and showed me the shirt(was nylon) about 8 yrs ago when he was i think a prison officer ,met him thro a youth training course and what a brilliant fella ....showed us that medal they had off Real Madrid and a watch presented to them also and a special right boot he had to have made to cover and protect his ankle .

    The only Purple one from the 70's I know of is this one, but is an away kit so worn more than once?

    Correct but was told they wore it once and that was at Bury the score 1.0 to Cardiff

    The three players in that pic i think are Bobby Woodruff,Gil Reece? anmd avent a clue about the third.........
