Anyone else been following this? Fans tweet players associated with LFC now or in the past asking questions about anything (Your time outside of football, best banter in the changing room, greatest moment etc.) and the players tweet back an answer. Luis Garcia & Titi Camara have done it previously. It normally happens on a Tuesday (Hence the name...) but today, as a added bonus, they have got Lucas on! @LFC & @LucasLeiva87 are the links you need open to follow the interview! Only 15 minutes left though!
I would but there are a couple of problems. 1) I don't have Twitter- I'm just following it all. 2) It's just ended. :/
I've had some great names, some of the best not606 has ever seen. Maybe I should combine them all? Lucas Zingy Destroyer Mutant Ninja Creator.
Bring Back Lucas Zingy Destroyer Mutant Ninja Creator surely I know sod all about twitter so not even sure why I'm on this thread but i do love Lucas, even think his hair is cool Did he have anything interesting to say?
Sums it up nicely! Just to add to that, says if he wasn't a footballer, he would have gone to Uni and tried to become a managing director, says Skrtel has been his player of the season so far, his recovery from injury is going well, Messi over Ronaldo and wants to stay here for many years to come!
Lol: he also says that although you can never guarantee anything he would like to be at LFC for many more years, that being a captain one day would be great but the main man is still here. Best piece of advice ever received; no complaining, head down work hard. And most importantly: his rehab is going very well.
Lucas top player who you can only admire, after getting abuse in the 1st couple of years strugglin behind the likes of Stevie,Masch n Xabi Now "He's" The Daddy, world class CM who would start in every premier leagues first 11,works hard excellent attitude, awesome reader of the game, never does sliding tackles like masch did, cos he reads game better and doesnt need too, very good passer, keeps it simple, but knows the time to make the more "key" pass. Also a lotta players go missin in the bigger games, he is usually a f**kin beast in the bigger games, made Scholes look like a useless ginger twa*t on many an occasion.I suspect Scholes likes Lucas like he likes being out in the sun for long periods Get well soon kid, we need ya
Have to admit its another thing I've liked about Lucas; he's used twitter to communicate with the fans, especially since injury. He also uses it to encourage & congratulate rather than be a smartarse. Oh one more thing he said tonight. His proudest moment since being at LFC? Being voted player of the year by the fans.
He should have been voted most improved player in 2009-10 too Most fans only seem to think he has been awesome this (2011-12) and last season (2010-11) but he started to, and became good the season (2009-12) before. I think it was when Alonso left and he saw his opportunity to mark his mark because of Aquilani's injury issues. If people scroll back (may be on 606 though?) I was saying at the beginning of last season that he was becoming my favourite player at the club and I was contemplating getting his name on my shirt (I didn't bother getting a name in the end). Get well soon Lucas, your our main man now
