Whenever he wants, time is under the control of Tiote

I take all reports on when folk will be fit with a pinch of salt. Sometimes it is just a managers way of keeping spirits up if they are going to be out longer, and sometimes its a rouse to fool the opposition. Look at th Tiote situ earlier in the season. He was coming back every game for 4 weeks or so! He'll be fit when's he's fit and we'll just have to make do for now.

Perchy in for Liverpool then with Collo out. Think the lad is doing a great job for us. LB against WBA then shifting over to CB, good utilty player.

He'll get better yet when the crowd start showing their appreciation for him instead of getting on his back.

It'll do his confidence the world of good.

To be fair though AB, I noticed for the first time a bit of appreciation going his way against WBA. Every tackle (he likes to get at least 6 in a game) is greeted in a similar fashion to the old Titus slide. And people have definetly picked up on his reading of the game and positions he takes up. He made a few interceptions that were classy and brought loud rounds of applause. He's shown great mental strength to come through his sticky patch. People talk about finally playing in his preferred position etc but his troubles were nothing to do with that. He didn't believe he belonged at this level and it showed in his play regardless of position.

Perch's problem is he's not good enough in the air to be a successful CB

Perch has improved a lot, and that says a lot for a guy that's put up with nothing but stick for a while. Hardly ever any praise.

He just needed a bit of time, and he's risen to premier league level far quicker than Colo, Jonas and Enrique did.

The three Musketeers didn't get as much stick as Perch because they had the chance to play at CC level for a year with us, which is what level they were at when they first came really, and they had the chance to improve and get to know the team well.

Perch was slammed in our team at premier league pressure straight away, and was never given a real chance.

I admire him for putting up with the bull**** and working hard in the training ground.

The brown curly hairs were probably mine, the fair curly hairs were probably Colo's.
