I've never buzzed more than on the start line of the Gt North Run when they played local hero. I was like the Tasmanian devil on speed.

 

You do the Great North Run ACS? Who do you run it for? You should put a thread up near the time and get sponsored by some of the guys, it all helps.

I did it last year mate. Never run before but trained hard and did 2.24 hours with shin splints and plantar fiiscitus.
It was without doubt the greatest moment of my life..made extra special by the fact that, when me mam passed away in October 2010 I promised her I'd do it.
I ran and now run for MacMillan in memory of my mam.
I am running at an Olympic event to test the Olympic stadium on Sunday (I'm one of 5000 runners nationally selected... But my train will get into the Toon for 1pm Sunday so good timing) and am doing the Blaydon and the great North.
It's a total buzz and let's me channel my stresses and aggression into something worthwhile.

I really dont see how that has anything to do with us at all, its not like the club were selling them, it was a generic advert for whichever of the 2 teams got through.

no mention of Sunderland on the thing. like i said a generic advert put in the local rag to get the drop on other coach/internet firms just incase, pretty sure the same ad would have been in a Liverpool rag as well.
