48 points should be our next milestone, we got 47 last year so lets aim to beat that. (its only a point a game) If we get 48 points in the next 4 games (which will mean 2 wins 2 draws, or 3 wins for 49), aim for 55 in the next 4 games after that. I doubt we will get 57-58 points which is what we got when we finished 7th 2 seasons in a row, but try to get as close as possible.

Come on lads we all know the team was getting better once one D Murphy was moved on. Similarly I assume we all know that our squad i.e.the bench will improve once the Egyptian Beckham is no part of it. I am one of those that thinks SB was a poor manager but not a bad scout. I know there was a few duds, some Argentinian with a name like a heavenly cherub springs to mind. Elmo is even worse than Bendtner who may make a championship standard player at some point, Elmo would struggle at Darlo and the state they are in they would take anyone!

i agree with giving the fringe players their chance. imo we will not be signing bendy so lets put young connor in for the last 8 games and see how he performs. Get Meyler on hoping he can play a bigger part next season Get Elmo out of football all together. Give Ji a few games. No pressure on us so lets see if these guys have a future at our club. Surely better than letting them out on loan.
Seems a shame that Noble went out on loan to Hartlepool until the end of the season. The opportunity to play against better opposition with the pressure off until the end of the season might have been invaluable IF he's to be in the squad next season. He also scored the next day in his first match against Yeovil so he's got that "poacher’s nose for goal" mentality! Could then the chance to flick off Ji
I think it's a great idea to play one or two "fringe-players".....but I think that syd misunderstood things a bit,as looking at his pictures,he must have thought the phrase was "minge-players"!!!I'll get my coat!
