I've heard of him mate, but must admit I haven't seen anything of him.

I'd trust a striker from the Turkish league, it's very competitive, watched some cracking games last couple months, especially featuring fenerbache, who the entire league seems to find 20% extra to play!

well i think these are the kind of players we should be looking at i will do a new one closer to the end of the season and yesterday i did a full squad thing for relegated players so i think there is enough qualitly out there for MON to look towards

I'm watching a lot of French and Italian at the minute, haven't seen any under the radar strikers.

I do like Henry Bedimo, Montpellier left back, doubtful we'll be heading down that route though!

There are a huge amount of good keepers around, as a point, Handanovic of Udinese being the stand out one for me.

We don't need a keeper tho...

    Yeah,

I mentioned on that thread about Hennessey, I think he's superb.

Al Habsi is a cracking shot stopper as well.

Its hard finding foreign players who adapt to our league. You can get lucky (eg Ba), but you can also get unlucky (Mutu, Kezman, Forlan etc).

I personally would prefer to go English, or maybe Russian. You know leagues that are like our pyshically and technically.

I still prefer Agbonlahor.. I rate him so highly. He has pace and a hell of a shot. I reckon 6-10 million we could have him and MON would do wonders. Also maybe look at that Russian at Fulham. He is strong and can score.

I personally think we need 2 good strikers in the summer 1 IMO is not enough.

Just looked at the post above and seen Agbonlahor's name, personally I don't know about him. MoN likes to play with the big man and 2 wide men and 1 in the hole behind. Agbonlahor like at Villa would NOT play as the central striker IMO he would be one of the wide men and with that being the case would he be a good signing? I aint sure.

As I have said before and will again Olivier Giroud has to be the number 1 target, the lad is fantastic, big, strong, good in the air and can score goals. Think he would be ideal in our team playing as the lone striker with Sess in and around him with two direct wide men also offering support.

As for another striker I aint sure, maybe Djibril Cisse?

Be good to sign him - at least we'd have someone in the squad with a worse disciplinary record than Cattermole!!!

I've heard nothing but good stuff about Giroud - never seen him but from my mates who regularly work over in Paris they say he his very highly rated

    I'd take Cisse back Poolie.

He has shown that he will score goals, for the 3rd time, and wouldn't cost a lot.

I'm with you on Giroud, but simply cannot see it happening.

I think we missed a trick with Jelavic, we were linked before Everyon, and could easily have outbid them.

He may have time wasted etc the other night, but in 4 games I have seen him, he's been excellent, a master of finding half a yard.

Mush, what about another try for your favourite..

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has made a surprise dash to France to chase Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.

The 26-year-old former France international could leave the French side on loan in the summer, after finding himself *relegated to the reserves.

Kean’s assistant Eric Black is a big fan of Gignac, who may need a move to kick-start his career.

Fulham and Sunderland showed interest in him earlier this season but failed to lure him over.

I still maintain he's a smashing player mate.

You have to wonder why he's been completely disregarded, considering Marseille have not won in 8 games.

I've followed him since seeing him play for Toulouse 4 years ago, and he's certainly physical enough for the league.

We may well go back for him.

Any of them players are no good if they are played out of position like at this club. Pavlechenko, Berbatov, and what about if Wolves go down, Doyle and Hunt are more realistic targets, but at the back is more important.

Pav went to Lomomotiv Moscow, I don't see any way on earth he'd suddenly decide to come straight back to England.

Berba has stated he will look for a CL club, and Hunt is ****ing awful.

I do like Doyle, but he just doesn't score enough goals, Fletcher would be a better target from the 2.
