Do you not often get snipers at a siege then? I would have thought they were part of the siege 101 manual. He shot two or three coppers after they tried to go in and take him, the authorities have every right to base their following actions on that event. If he pops up at the window waving a gun about, potentially to shoot/ kill someone else then why not...the fact he was on his way out of the window with a gun when they shot him, and he had asserted that he would die with the gun in his hand, goes to demonstrate that he wasn't intending to go peacefully either...ergo shoot to kill. I would stand by that for someone who hadn't just killed seven other people as well, and non muslim, although esp from Bristol
He filmed himself committing them and posted it online, then phoned a French news channel and told them why he'd done it and that he was going to do more. Flimsy.
