Just as a matter of interest, do you agree that all foreigners should be got out of the country? i.e. Guly, Spider, Steve, Hoover?

I think Joe was just saying what Churchill thought (without saying) rather than what Joe thinks himself. I maybe wrong but.....

As for the Winston in the 1930s. Indeed he had warned about Germany but was ignored, however he also wanted to maintain India and other countries within the empire which not only would've bankrupted us within a decade or two but would've made us look a little hypocritical when Germany started to 'build' it's empire. Can you imagine shouting out about Hitler invading other countries and slaughtering millions whilst we held onto India by force after we had brutally massacred just as many to gain territory?

Add to that some of the things he said like when India was struggling for rice in the war and he said 'If they are starving then why hasn't Gandhi died yet' - He didn't like Gandhi. lol

I do agree though. definitely the right man for the job in hand - much like BFS at WH, although one was a winner and the other may or may not be.

Like a lot of things in life Winston Churchill won us the war but was not considered capable of securing the peace.

Good lord no. Why would I mock his opinions if I agreed with them? If I haven't made it clear by now, I'm a very liberal person. I'd probably let a whole lot more in.
