The ref for the match v Arsenal is Mike Dean from the Wirral.
He is the eejit that awarded Chelsea a penalty in the cup game when Sturridge cheated.
Expect to see at least one penalty awarded as he has given eleven this season. ( More than any other Ref. )
He also averages 3.44 cards this season ( 143 Yellow and 4 Red ) so expect some of the same on Saturday.
Hopefully Van Persil gets sent off early doors to even the game up a bit.

I was thinking along those lines HH, but didn't want to tempt fate again after predicting it last time v Wolves.

Ref Dean owes us, and I reckon we'll get a pen which Taarabt will convert.

I reckon it's time someone got sent off against us,plus i think if we were lucky enough to get a pen Zamora would take it!

That will be interesting to see when it happens HH. I think we should let Adel take it though. That may well give him the impetus to go on and produce the magic that may keep us up.

Funny you should say that, if he had taken and scored the penalty v Chelsea I don't think we would be where we are now. He looked like he wanted to punch someone that great day, when they stopped him from taking it.

It was the right call that day to let Heidar take it,but last season they seemed to take it in turns.

Heidar and Adel are designated penalty takers, they take turns.

I have to disagree there mate. Adel is one of those players that needs his ego massaged to get the best from him. I think deep down that is the reason we have struggled this season.
That along with the fact that Warnock seemed to distance himself from our Championship winning team. Breaking up that defence with a few games to go and then spouting off about bringing in better quality players was very poor man management in my opinion.

He has given a penalty in every Chelsea game I have attended.

When I saw he was the ref vs City I said to my mate jokingly we should bet on a penalty being given.

In fairness I thought it was stonewall but a few seasons ago when we played W*st Ham he gave a penalty to each side (ours wasn't a pen IMO) nonetheless he made us take it 3 times despite the fact more West Ham players encroaching than Chelsea players. Something he has never made anyone else have to do.

The guy is penalty obsessed, strangely not so much at Old Trafford

With a tight pitch, lots of speedy players who are not great defensively but two attacking flair teams I can definitely see a penalty being given. Arsenal have no defensive discipline which could work in your favour.

Nobody has this season to be fair. No team has been solid with the exception of United away from home, even City have started leaking goals a lot.

If you adopt the same gameplan with Arsenal as you did with us then I guarantee you get a point at least, if you play like you did vs United you could get turned over.

I think you'll raise your game. Arsenal were sussed out years ago by Chelsea and United. Just defend deep and hit on the counter then you have a chance. A striker like Zamora will cause them problems.

You will definitely get something from Arsenal or Tottenham. I am certain.
